Maryland football announced a future series Thursday with a team that’s pretty hard to get excited about.
The Terps will play a home-away series with the University of Connecticut in 2024 and 2026, taking home advantage in the first matchup and traveling to East Hartford for the second.
UConn was the worst FBS team in 2018, finishing with a 1-11 record and the worst defense in major college football history. Many remarked the program should move back down to FCS following the disaster of a season.
The Terps and Huskies have only met three times prior, with Maryland taking a 2-1 edge in the series.
