Eight Maryland women’s lacrosse players are currently competing in Athletes Unlimited, the premier professional women’s lacrosse league.
As week four approaches, Maryland is well-represented, with players rostered on all four teams in the league. In week three, Meghan Ball, a stalwart defender on Team North, made a significant impact with six ground balls, four forced turnovers and her first assist of the season. Fellow former Terp Erica Evans also notched her first assist of the season.
Team Moreno had no Maryland players in week three, but Team Apuzzo featured four. Goalkeeper Emily Sterling accumulated 569 points after three weeks of gameplay.
