Former Maryland football stars Anthony McFarland and Antoine Brooks Jr. made their 2021 NFL preseason debuts in the Pittsburgh Steelers 16-3 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the Hall of Fame Game.
Both McFarland and Brooks Jr. are in their second season with the Steelers as both were drafted by Pittsburgh in the 2020 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, McFarland had 33 carries for 113 yards while Brooks Jr. had two total tackles.
As they enter their second NFL season, they led preseason off by both seeing playing time on the field. Thursday evening against the Cowboys McFarland had three carries for nine yards while Brooks Jr.
