Former Maryland women’s basketball guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough officially inked a deal with the Washington Mystics to play with the team for the rest of the 2021 season, the Mystics announced Wednesday.
Walker-Kimbrough previously played with the Mystics on two consecutive seven-day contracts and she clearly impressed enough to warrant another deal. In her four appearances for the Mystics, she averaged 6.5 points per contest on 55% shooting from the floor. Three of those four appearances came as starts.
The Pennsylvania native has been in the WNBA since 2017 and she played for the Mystics for three seasons from 2017-19.
