Maryland volleyball brought on a new player to its roster as graduate transfer Paula Neciporuka joined the team Thursday, the program announced.
Neciporuka is a 5-foot-9 outside hitter that previously went to VCU, where she tallied 573 digs, 560 kills and 87 blocks in 304 sets over her four years there. This summer, she has been competing in the CEV Volleyball European Super League and seeing playing time for the Latvian Senior National Team.
“This offseason we looked to add both depth and experience to our very young roster. Paula is somebody that helps us in both of these areas,” head coach Adam Hughes said in a press release.
