DeMatha Catholic HS product Greg Penn III tweeted Monday that he will announce his college decision on July 12.
The Hyattsville, Maryland, native is a four-star recruit and ranked the No. 9 inside linebacker in the 2021 class, per the 24/7 Sports Composite.
Maryland is currently the lone Crystal Ball Prediction to land the 10th ranked player in the state, per Brian Dohn of 24/7 Sports. Penn also has Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas A&M in his top-six.
Maryland football head coach Mike Locksley has already landed 16 players for the 2021 class, which currently ranks 17th in the nation and fifth in the Big Ten.
