Seven Maryland football players were chosen for the East-West Shrine Bowl Watch List, comprised of 1,000 of the best collegiate players who are all-star game eligible for 2025, it was announced Tuesday.
The players selected for the Terps include defensive lineman Tommy Akingbesote, wide receiver Tai Felton, running back Roman Hemby, linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II, defensive back Glen Miller, wide receiver Kaden Prather, and defensive back Dante Trader Jr. Last year, four Terps ultimately participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Felton and Prather will return as Maryland’s solid one-two punch at wide receiver. Last year, Felton was named a 2023 third-team All-Big Ten selection, leading the team with six receiving touchdowns.
