Maryland baseball head coach Rob Vaughn signed an extension that will last the next five years, the program announced Tuesday. The contract kicked in this month and will keep Vaughn tied to the team through June 2026.
Vaughn’s lengthy extension was well-deserved as the manager led the Terps to a strong 2021 season. Maryland finished with a 30-18 overall record and made it all the way to the NCAA Greenville Regional Final at East Carolina before being eliminated. In the second half of the regular season, the Terps managed a sparkling 18-4 record over the final 22 games of the season.
