The MLS is Back Tournament started earlier this week in Orlando, Florida, and several former Maryland men’s soccer standouts will be in action this Sunday.
Though several teams have already pulled out of the bubble format tournament because of multiple positive coronavirus tests in their organizations, play started with a whopping 14 Terps. Nine of those players will be competing in games this weekend, all on Sunday.
First up, Toronto FC will be taking on DC United at 9 a.m. on ESPN 2 in a matchup featuring six former Terps. Defender Omar Gonzalez, forward Tsubasa Endoh and forward Patrick Mullins will all suit up for Toronto.
