Eight Maryland football players were named to Athlon Sports’ preseason All-Big Ten teams, the publication announced Tuesday.
Wide receiver Tai Felton, linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II and kick returner Braeden Wisloski earned second-team selections, wide receiver Kaden Prather was named to the third team and running back Roman Hemby, defensive lineman Jordan Phillips and linebacker Donnell Brown earned fourth-team honors.
Felton and Hyppolite both earned All-Big Ten third team nods last season, and Wisloski was an honorable mention. Felton finished first on the team in receiving touchdowns (6) and second in receiving yards (723), while Hyppolite finished second on the team in tackles (66).
