Maryland men’s baseball has landed in the D1Baseball Top-25 for the first time since 2017.
The Terrapins entered this week’s rankings at No. 25 and are one of two Big Ten teams in the poll with regular-season champion Nebraska entering at No. 20.
Maryland obtained the spot after defeating Michigan twice over the weekend, marking its sixth straight series win and causing the Wolverines to drop out of the rankings.
During the team’s 7-3 victory on May 23, Maryland had ten hits with an additional six runs-batted-in. Junior shortstop Benjamin Cowles captured his 17th home run of the year.
