Former Buffalo offensive linemen Isaiah Wright committed to Maryland on Tuesday, head coach Mike Locksley announced.
Wright, who has two years of eligibility remaining, spent the last two seasons anchoring the Bulls’ offensive line. He began his collegiate career at Rutgers.
In 2023, Wright started 11 games for Buffalo, playing five at left tackle and six at center. He tied for third in the Mid-American Conference for fewest sacks allowed.
In 2022, he started all 13 games at left tackle, during which Buffalo’s offense ranked top five in the conference in scoring offense, total offense and passing offense.
