Maryland women’s basketball made a late addition to its 2020 class, signing guard Taisiya “Tai” Kozlova on Monday.
Kozlova, a native of Moscow, Russia, averaged 13.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game at Elevation Prep Academy in Florida, where she led the team in minutes played and points per game while starting every game.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tai into our Maryland family,” head coach Brenda Frese said in a statement. ”She fits us perfectly and will be eligible immediately. She is a dynamic guard with tremendous length that can really shoot the ball and defend.
