Maryland men’s basketball officially revealed its Big Ten schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season Thursday afternoon.
The Terps will play 20 conference games next season after finishing with a 9-11 Big Ten record this past year. The teams that Maryland will face twice next season in both home and away matchups include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State and Rutgers.
Maryland will play face Minnesota, Penn State and Wisconsin only in College Park, while games against Michigan, Nebraska and Purdue will only come on the road.
It’s been quite the offseason for head coach Mark Turgeon, as the bench boss nabbed two important transfers with the likes of Georgetown’s center Qudus Wahab and Rhode Island’s guard Fatts Russell joining the program.
