Maryland men’s basketball transfer guard Rodney Rice committed to USC Tuesday, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports first reported. The deal is reportedly worth $3 million.

The 6-foot-4 guard entered the transfer portal on March 31 after the departure of former head coach Kevin Willard, but opted not to follow him to Villanova. Rice has two years of eligibility remaining.
Rice is the sixth transfer from last season’s team to find a new team, and the only one that remained in the Big Ten.
