MM 4.2: Maryland Gymnastics advances to next round in NCAA regional

Maryland gymnastics is moving on to the next round in the Tuscaloosa region. The GymTerps defeated Eastern Michigan, 195.525-195.475, Thursday afternoon.

Maryland was led by senior Audrey Barber who earned first-place scores of 9.9 on the beam and 39.325 in the all-around competition. Barber’s 9.9 on the beam was the final score Maryland recorded for the event. As the Terps gathered together, Eastern Michigan’s Jada Rondeau finished her floor routine. She scored a 9.850 which ended up being the difference for the Terps.

Maryland also earned first-place honors on the vault and bars thanks to juniors Alexsis Rubio and Sanya Glauber.
