Both Maryland men’s and women’s golf performed well over the weekend in last season competitions.
The women’s team picked up a second-place finish (+2) at the Indiana Invitational, while the men’s team finished in fifth (+11) at the Rutherford Intercollegiate in State College, Pennsylvania.
No. 19 Maryland women’s golf has been on a tear this spring, placing no lower than third across five invitationals and defeating Virginia in its lone match play event. Laura Van Respaille led the Terps this weekend with a three-round score of 218 (+2), while Xiaolin Tian and Patricie Mackova both finished close behind with scores of 219 (+3).
