Five former Maryland football players performed well at this past weekend’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

The Terps’ five representatives included defensive linemen Tommy Akingbesote and Jordan Phillips, wide receivers Kaden Prather and Tai Felton and defensive back Dante Trader Jr.

Akingbesote posted a 28-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-7-inch broad jump. He also ran the 40-yard dash in 5.09 seconds, the ninth-fastest among defensive lineman. Phillips’ 29 reps on the bench press were the most by a defensive lineman, and his 4.65-second 20-yard shuttle was fourth best among defensive tackles.

Prather posted a solid 4.46 40-yard dash to go with a 30-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-6-inch broad jump.
