Maryland women’s basketball sophomore guard Diamond Miller was one of the players named to the Big Ten conferences’ weekly honor roll Monday. This is the second time the Somerset, New Jersey native has received the award this year.
This past week, Miller averaged 20 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and shot 54.5% from the floor in the team’s three wins. Her play was crucial to the Terps’ most recent win over Northwestern, as she finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds to aid a weaker performance by the team.
She has taken a big jump from her freshman to sophomore season, nearly doubling every statistical category.
