No. 6 Maryland men’s lacrosse players Braden Erksa and Logan McNaney were named to the Tewaaraton Watch List, the organization announced Thursday night. The Tewaaraton Award honors the best male and female college lacrosse player in the United States.

Erksa, a junior attackman, has led the Terps in points in each of the last two seasons, recording 89 total (50 goals and 39 assists). Against No. 18 Richmond Saturday, Erksa contributed two goals.

McNaney, a graduate goalie, has the fourth-most career saves in program history with 599. He totaled 14 against the Spiders.

Five finalists will be announced in early May and the winner will be selected after the season.
