Former Maryland men’s soccer midfielder Eryk Williamson has been called up to the under-23 United States men’s national team.
This January camp comes in advance of a planned match at the end of the month, which will feature members of the senior and U-23 teams. With the camp falling outside of the FIFA international window, it leans heavily on domestic talent.
Williamson played three seasons for the Terrapins between 2015 and 2017, during which he netted 14 goals. The Alexandria, Virginia, native was named Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and was selected to the All-Big Ten first team in his junior year.
