Freshman defensive lineman DD Holmes has transferred to Maryland football from Florida State, the program announced Sunday.

Holmes, who stands 6-foot-6 and 255 pounds, was a four-star prospect from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, and was the No. 2 recruit in the 2024 class from DC, according to the 247Sports Composite.
