Maryland women’s basketball had its second straight matchup canceled Monday night after a member of the Mount St. Mary’s program tested positive for the coronavirus. The Terps were scheduled to play The Mountaineers at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The Terps also had their game against Coppin State for this past Saturday wiped off the slate. The team will have to wait an entire week to play its next opponent, Rutgers, on the road in its Big Ten opener on Dec. 14.
Maryland stayed at No. 14 in the latest Associated Press Top-25 poll, remaining the top-ranked team in the Big Ten.
