After upsetting its third ranked team on the road Saturday, Maryland men’s basketball faces a quicker turnaround than expected with its game against No. 10 Wisconsin moved to Wednesday, January 27. at 9 p.m. The matchup was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 30.
The change was made by the Big Ten conference in order to accommodate the previously postponed contest between Michigan and Penn State.
This is now the sixth Maryland matchup that has been affected the season. The team was dealt four cancellations in December and most recently had its matchup with Nebraska postponed. In their only matchup of the season, Maryland defeated Wisconsin, 70-64, behind Eric Ayala’s team-high 17 points.
