Maryland cornerback Corey Coley Jr. announced his intention to enter the transfer portal Sunday on social media, one day before the portal officially opens on Dec. 4.
Coley announced his decision shortly after teammate Jaishawn Barham made the same declaration Sunday, bringing the total of Terps having declared for the portal to seven. Coley is the third defensive back to do so, joining Tamarcus Cooley and Gavin Gibson.
Coley played 387 total snaps this season, according to Pro Football Focus. In 12 games, he recorded two pass breakups, nine tackles and two run stops.
