Maryland football is just two days away from finding out whether it will receive a commitment from what would be one of the highest-ranked recruits in program history.
Terrence Lewis, a five-star linebacker and the No. 16 player in the entire 2021 class, will be deciding between Maryland and Miami during the All-American Bowl this Saturday, he announced. The decision will be aired on NBC at 3 p.m. ET.
Lewis decommitted from the University of Tennessee on Nov. 30 and then announced a top-two of Maryland and Tennessee on Dec. 14, but it now seems as if the Volunteers are no longer a factor in Lewis’ recruitment.
