Maryland football suffered another loss on Tuesday as sophomore linebacker Cortez Andrews announced his decision to enter the transfer portal.
Andrews had three tackles this season, including two in Maryland’s upset win over Penn State. He joined the Terps as a three-star recruit in the Class of 2019 and saw the field in six games as a freshman, but his playing time declined in 2020.
Andrews is the second player in two days to enter the portal, joining cornerback Tahj Capehart. Capehart was recruited as a three-star wide receiver but transitioned to a defensive role early in his college career.
