As COVID-19 ravages throughout the nation, it is no different in college basketball. Maryland men’s basketball was supposed to play George Mason on Friday, but that game was canceled Wednesday morning because of a positive test in the Patriots program.
Maryland will now host Saint Peter’s on Friday, Dec. 4 at 3 pm. The game will air on Big Ten Network. Maryland and Saint Peter’s have played each other just one time before. That matchup came in 1981 at Cole Field House, where the Terps came away with a 49-42 victory.
The Terps have had multiple schedule changes over the past week.
