Maryland men’s lacrosse star Jared Bernhardt will return for his fifth and final season next spring.
The Longwood, Florida native, who played quarterback in high school, committed to Ferris State to play college football with his final year of eligibility. The Division II Bulldogs ultimately postponed their season until at least January and he’ll now return to the Terps for another year.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to come back to Maryland and rejoin my coaches and teammates,” Bernhardt said in a press release, adding that he is “thankful to have another chance to play college lacrosse this season.
