Maryland men’s basketball looks for its first Big Ten victory of the season as it takes on the No. 9 Wisconsin Badgers Monday night.
The Terps fell to Purdue, 73-70, on Friday afternoon. While Maryland never led, it fought back from a 15-point deficit to tie the game in its final minute. Donta Scott posted 15 points and eight rebounds, both team highs.
In its last two games, Maryland has only turned the ball over nine times. But the Terps shot just 10-for-21 from the free throw line against the Boilermakers, including a pair of misses by Darryl Morsell when facing a two-point deficit with 17 seconds left.
