Maryland football went through a thorough makeover this past week, adding multiple solid recruits on Early National Signing Day, while also promoting assistant strength and conditioning coach Mason Baggett to take over as the associate director of football performance.
Following the departure of former Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning Matthew Fyle, Baggett — who has been a part of the staff since 2016 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach — was promoted to the position.
Baggett had previously served as an assistant strength coach at East Carolina University from 2008-11 and spent just over a year as an associate strength and conditioning coach with the University of Illinois football program.
