No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball guard Shyanne Sellers was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career Monday.
The Terps played just one game last week against No. 23 Minnesota, but Sellers 27-point performance, a season high, was enough to earn the honor. She also posted nine rebounds and seven assists, while shooting 9-of-11 from the field and 3-of-3 from 3-point range.
Sellers, a senior, is averaging 14.2 points, 4.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game this season, but sustained a knee injury in a loss to No. 7 Texas Monday.
