Maryland men’s basketball will take on the James Madison Dukes in the second-ever meeting between the two teams this Saturday at 3 p.m. The Terps added the matchup to their schedule following coronavirus related cancellations of their games against Towson and Monmouth.
Maryland beat the Dukes by a score of 90-76 in their only previous matchup on January 28, 1987. Derrick Lewis scored Maryland’s first triple-double in that game with 29 points, 23 rebounds and 12 blocks.
The Terps have had at least four double-digit scorers in every game so far this season, with Eric Ayala, Aaron Wiggins and Darryl Morsell reaching the feat in all three contests.
