More than 34 years after his tragic death, Maryland men’s basketball legend Len Bias will finally be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. The late Bias is a part of an eight-man class that will be inducted in November 2021, per release.
“I’m really excited for the Bias family on Len being selected for enshrinement into the Hall of Fame,” said Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon. “It’s a well-deserved honor and well overdue. It’s great news for the Maryland program and for all those associated with Len.”
This is indeed a long-overdue move for one of the greatest college basketball players of all time.
