Maryland women’s tennis concluded the 2021 ITA Atlantic Super Regionals this past Monday, per a release. The Terps had a few strong performances in singles, as well as solid runs in the doubles draw.
Partners Mary Brumfield and Selma Cadar defeated West Virginia’s Camilla Bossi and Ting-Pei Chang, 8-3, to give the Terps a win to start the tournament. Soon after in doubles play, Pair Jojo Bach and Marta Perez Mur took down Penn State’s Yvonna Zuffova and Alina Lebedeva in the fashion of an 8-4 victory.
Additionally, on the first day of singles play, Perez Mur earned a victory and a spot in the Round of 16 with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Avantika Willy of Georgetown.
