Maryland fans may not be the only ones who think Jalen Smith can turn into a star in the NBA.
Earlier this week, Bleacher Report’s Rob Goldberg listed “Stix” as a first-round prospect who could exceed his expectations heading into November’s NBA Draft. Smith was joined on the list by some pretty elite company, including UNC standout Cole Anthony, Duke All-American Vernon Carey Jr., and former top-5 recruit RJ Hampton.
Smith proved a lot throughout his sophomore campaign at Maryland, picking up First Team All-Big Ten and Third Team All-American honors. Not only did he average a double-double with 15.
