The Maryland football team’s matchup against Michigan State on Oct. 22 in College Park will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network in prime time, the league announced on Monday. Kickoff has been set for 7:30, the first time in two years that the Terrapins have a home football game scheduled to be played under the lights.
Maryland’s Big Ten opener last season against Michigan was originally slated for a prime time slot, but was rescheduled due to Hurricane Joaquin. Maryland also hosted Michigan State in prime time during its inaugural Big Ten season in 2014.
