Guard Caris LeVert could miss the Michigan men's basketball team's game Tuesday against No. 3 Maryland for the second straight season.
Coach John Beilein said he is "not optimistic" that the Wolverines star, who injured his lower left leg against Illinois on Dec. 30 and sat out Michigan’s win over Penn State on Jan. 2 and loss Thursday at Purdue, will play against the Terps. He did not practice Sunday.
"The longer it goes, the more he's going to need two to three days days to practice or he won't be ready and could risk further injury," Beilein told reporters Monday.
