Bryan Cole's goal with 49 seconds remaining lifted No. 5 Maryland (7-2, 1-0 Big Ten Conference) over host Michigan (3-6, 0-1) in snowy conditions for its sixth consecutive win.
With the game tied at 7 and under two minutes to play, Kyle Bernlohr made a pair of saves that led to a transition opportunity for the Terps that finished with Cole's game-winner. Bernlohr matched a career high with 12 saves.
Tim Muller had three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers, Cole finished with two goals and and Matt Rambo added two goals for Maryland.
