RIVIERA MAYA, Mexico – Melo Trimble’s first trip to another country came four months ago when he visited Canada as a member of the U.S. Pan American Games team. It was an eye-opening experience for the Maryland point guard, who as the youngest member of the roster learned how much of his game needs to develop.
It nonetheless reinforced his confidence as he returned to the college game, where Trimble is already an established star and the face of a program that rose to No. 2 in the Associated Press top 25 poll on Monday.
