After a successful 2017-18 season, Maryland women’s golf will be represented in this week’s RICOH Women’s British Open.
Rising senior Ludovica Farina was one of 17 players to earn a spot in the field through Final Qualifying on Monday. The championship starts Thursday morning at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in England. Farina tees off at 2:22 p.m. local time (9:22 a.m. ET) in the first round.

Farina, who will compete as an amateur, shot a three-under 69 on Monday, carding five birdies to offset two bogeys.
