When Maryland men's basketball players Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley appeared on "Ellen" on Tuesday, it seemed a safe bet that viewers would be treated to two show staples: Ellen DeGeneres dancing and a thoughtful gift.
Well, one out of two ain't bad.
Riding the wave of their #RunningManChallenge virality, the Terps stopped by Hollywood over the weekend to explain how they took a dance started by DeGeneres' first two guests, high-schoolers Kevin Vincent and Jeremiah Hall, and launched it into the stratosphere.
"Basketball is such a grind, especially at the college level, so we just try to keep our teammates loose in the locker room," Nickens told DeGeneres in the segment highlights.
