Maryland defensive back Denzel Conyers, who was taken from practice Thursday in an ambulance, was treated for a concussion and released from the hospital, coach DJ Durkin said Friday afternoon.
"We did all the tests, everything's clear," Durkin said after practice. "He's good. He's being treated for a concussion. Everything's good. He was back with us last night."
Conyers, a senior, was carted off the field on a stretcher early in practice on Thursday and taken from the practice fields in an ambulance. Maryland released a statement later in the day that Conyers was "stable and alert" but didn't provide specifics on his injury.
