Maryland women’s soccer was dominated by No. 7 Ohio State on Friday night, 3-0.
The Terps fell down early and never recovered, failing to score a goal for the 16th consecutive Big Ten match.
The Buckeyes outmatched and outclassed Maryland (3-7-4, 0-5-1 Big Ten) all night, and the Terps had no answer.
Ohio State (9-1-3, 4-1-2 Big Ten) got out to a hot start out of the gate. Liz Beardsley conceded two goals in a 24-second span, both in the seventh minute.
Peyton McNamara gave the Buckeyes their initial lead. Amanda Schlueter took a shot that was blocked, but right to the foot of McNamara, who rocketed it in the net.
