Maryland women’s lacrosse defeats Northwestern, 18-9, to complete undefeated regular season

With a decisive victory over No. 15 Northwestern, Maryland women’s lacrosse finishes the regular season with a perfect 17-0 record. The Terps dominated the Wildcats for most of the game, leaving no doubt that they are the best team in the Big Ten.

It was a slow start for Maryland, only scoring one goal in the first 15 minutes of the game. However, the team picked up the play 15 minutes in. Caroline Steele heated up to lead the Terps, scoring three straight to go up two by the 10-minute mark and finishing the half with four goals.
