Maryland women’s basketball’s Kristi Toliver is a WNBA All-Star for the 2nd time

Kristi Toliver remains one of the most iconic players in Maryland women’s basketball history. She scored 2,078 points and recorded 751 assists from 2005-09 in College Park, and hit the signature shot in the Terps’ national title game victory over Duke in 2006.

On Tuesday, Toliver was officially selected to her second WNBA All-Star team.

Toliver is averaging 14 points and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 36.8 percent from three-point range and a staggering 91.7 percent from the free-throw line. The Mystics are 13-9, good for the best record in the Eastern Conference and the fourth-best mark in the 12-team league.
