Maryland women’s basketball was down seven points with under a minute to play against Minnesota on Thursday night. The Terrapins found a way to win.
Not only did they avoid a loss to drop in the Big Ten standings, but Iowa blew a 16-point lead against Illinois to give the Terps sole possession of first place with just two games remaining.
While Maryland is back in the driver’s seat to win the conference championship, it still needs to take care of business to take away anyone’s chances of stealing the title before the season ends.
