Maryland women’s basketball returns to the Xfinity Center for the first time in two weeks when it hosts Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday night.
The Terps capped a four-game road trip with a 75-54 win over Akron on Saturday. Ohio native Kristen Confroy had an excellent game in front of her friends and family, finishing with 23 points and nine rebounds. Kaila Charles added 23 points and 14 rebounds, and was named to the Big Ten Honor Roll after notching a double-double against the Zips and hitting the go-ahead layup against Virginia on Wednesday.
Maryland is still 15th in the AP Poll, which is where it was at the beginning of the season.
