Maryland women’s basketball secured its second transfer commitment of the offseason Friday, with VCU point guard Sarah Te-Biasu announcing on social media that she will play for the Terps.
Te-Biasu’s exceptional play led her to be named the 2023-24 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, marking the first time a VCU player received the honor since 2003-04.
During her four years at VCU, Te-Biasu consistently performed as a reliable scorer, never averaging below 10 points per game. Over the last two seasons, she maintained a scoring average of 16 points per game with a shooting percentage of 40.
