Maryland opens its 2015-2016 season against the Spiders of Richmond. As the fearless leader of Testudo Times, Pete Volk, noted in his preview, this will be one of the final times that we see Maryland play against an FCS program. It will be the last time that Maryland plays Richmond for a while. That being said, the Spiders might be happy with that since they have had very little success against Maryland in the all-time series.
Richmond brings in a new quarterback, Kyle Lauletta, who will probably make some mistakes before settling in. The Terps will look to make him uncomfortable, just like they did to Taylor Heinicke of Old Dominion when the Monarchs came to town.
